This third challenge is very important to me. I love the Beatles. I mean, they were almost as influential as me. Well,
not almost, but they tried their best. Let's hope that they've inspired you to create some FIERCE fashion.
First up is Yema, whose inspiration was I Am the Walrus. Some people have called me a walrus over the years.. they're just jealous of my curvaceous normal-sized body. Well, here's her outfit, anyway:

So the song I Am The Walrus was written when the Beatles were on an acid trip. When you think of acid, you think of a green trippyness. Now when I heard the song, I thought it was a song about being powerful so the dress I made was meant to say I CAN DO THIS. I CAN DO ANYTHING BITCH. It is strapless which basically is using Salteesha's sexuality. It's not trashy, it's empowering. The darker stap adds an edge and says "LOOK, I HAVE A DARKER STRAP. I'M NOT JUST TWO DIFFERENT HUES BITCH!" and the shows are classy, yet stylish. They basically scream. "THE LINES ON MY SHOES WILL DOMINATE WHILE I STRUT IT OFF." I cannot believe a song gave me such inspiration! ^_^ Our next designer is Nick - will Strawberry Fields Forever inspire him out of fourth place?

When I listened to Strawberry Fields forever, I immediately got a psychedelic, hippie vibe. So, I wanted to be flowy and laid back. Also, I wanted to work with the namesake of the title into the color pallet. I felt red and green would be too cliche, so I went with purple and white, for overripe and not yet bloomed strawberries. On the skirt, I have a flowy purple fabric, and sewn on top is a sheer covering with a floral pattern. The top is a nice, simple silhouette blouse, with a green leather belt. The belt is like, oh, those bitches holdin ME BACK. And it makes her boobies pop. She has 3 gold bangles and a nice scarf, cuz the song is kinda gypsy yet clazzy. thnx! Our next designer is dapa - will Eleanor Rigby leave him one of all the lonely, eliminated people?

Here is Twiglet! My song is about loneliness so I went for a design that was punk like and used dark colors. The shoes are pretty plain. The skirt is unique though because it has a double belt and a ruby on it. I then gave her an Onyx bracelet. Her top is meant to be simple yet straight to the point so I added broken hearts. I added the vest since it looks fashionable. She also hates Herve and made leg 5 for them miserable by magically giving a randomly tough roadblock. Thingamajig said he's never heard Helter Skelter... will his ignorance show in his outfit?

She's hip, she's glam, she's very 60's... well she's definitely some kind of past decade. Either way, Sherbette can look very hot while she's heltering and skeltering in this number. Tight, uneven Tee and very short shorts will get a lot of guys motors running, and the suspenders on the inside I think are a nice change from the standard belt. SFGP is our bottom three goddess... will he stay there with his Drive My Car-inspired look?

It's everyone's favorite overseas movie star! =O In the song "Drive My Car", the lyrics talk about being a star! That's just what Cerys is, in this occasion ^_^ Rocking yellow shoez (AND SHE EVEN HAS A SMALL ANKLET! *GASP* SUCH DETAIL =O), she's always ready for the movie set. Rockin' a flowy turquiose dress and a...erhm, I dunno what you call those kinda shirts, Cerys is taking on her newest role in Tokyo. >_> I wanted to keep it simple this round, hoping that a simple, MOR design would be scored higher than my previous two designs - that were a tad OTT. Probably. And here comes kishuu, who was disappointed this wasn't a Pussycat Dolls challenge.. get some taste, bitch. What did she come up with for Across the Universe?

It's actually a dark blue turtleneck + black skirt. Those colors to me, represent mystery and the journey across the universe is mysterious, as well as the universe itself. Stars represent the universe (in part I guess). That's about it. Pretty sick now so no longass descriptions. The next designer picked possibly my favourite song of the lot, A Day in the Life. Did oh ehm gee do it justice?

So this outfit is inspired by "A Day in the Life". When I hear the song, two things come to mind as far as major motifs to it: drugs and the public's desensitization to odd things. As such, I made an homage to a flapper dress, only instead of using beading, I used (simulated) pot leaves. While at first it may be odd and controversial (like the Beatles, no?), once you study it, it's unique and interesting. To go along with the dress I had some sort of mod-like boots to give a bit of color as well as a belt and bangle to enhance the silhouette and give some color and sparkle to the look. Here comes Gaprizelle, whose song was Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.. how did it inspire her?

Jarvis is dressed in an evening gown inspired by "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds". The bodice is a cross-over wrap with pleating in a gold material a little like the movie stars dress on the cover of Sergeant Pepper's. The skirt is coloured like the night sky with stylised stars embroidered into the top section to represent the sky with diamonds. The idea for the lilies came from the flowers towering over your head line. Which they would be if you were worshipping at Jarvis's feet at the time, that's what any sane person would do at the sight of this fabulous ensemble. I've made the flower's stalks swirly and smoky to fit the psychedelic mood of the song. Mugatu got off to a rocky start with Maxwell's Silver Hammer with a scrapped design.. what did he pull out at the last minute?

Maxwell's Silver Hammer...a song about a successful med student who bludgeons people to death with a silver hammer. What I love about this song is that it is so contrasting and two faced - smart rich boy that's got everything going for him but he's actually a sociopathic murderer; combined with violent lyrics but such a fabulous up tempo melody which makes me giggle. It is on this basis of contrast/two faced theme that I have made my outfit. The outfit takes me back to the so hot 60's. Flower patterns adorn the trim of this hippie-esque outfit, and the brown earthy colours of the headband and the belt make this design oh-so-40ish-years-ago. The light yellow colors ooze mellowness of the hippy ways, however, this is contrasted with the "two-faced-ness" (that phrase is so hot right now, book it) of the black. The left side of the dress is more flowy, easygoing and happy! The right side is a tiny bit more sombre, with black nails and black bangles giving the outfit a darker feel. I love the simplicity of it, and I took Ms. Banks' advice of making it less costumey as I originally had a sexy yet costumey doctor's outfit...which was so not hot right now! Our next designer, another of the tasteless whores, jensa! Was she inspired by Octopus's Garden?

here's ebbonnee wearing a pink long gown, i decided to go with pink cus i think that's what coral looks like... and i added some flower-looking things cus the song said something about a garden ( i didn't pay much attention to the song i went for that shape cus i think it kinda looks like an octopus And here's our last challenge winner, DC! He's got immunity, but did he get inspiration from Here Comes the Sun?

My Beatles song was Here Comes The Sun. It was easy to get inspired from it, but the actual design process was long and frustrating for me.  The lyrics reminded me of the sun and of spring, so I wanted to
make a sun dress that showcased the vibrant colours of spring. I tried many different things until I finally came up with this flower-inspired outfit for
Whorette. I hope it's enough.  We all saw a preview of what snowie came up with for Magical Mystery Tour - did he take Level Jay's advice and give it an overhaul?

My new design! It's less busy then my original design, but it still has the feel of the Magical Mystery Tour. It still has funky, trippy patterns, yet it's short skirt, middle cut back, and midriff cutoff adds sex appeal. Complete with shoes with similar coloring to the actual MMT bus, this sexpot's ready to give you a wild tour. And finally, here comes CatLurvesDorothy, who promised to wow us all with her take on Come Together...

in an attempt to prove myself not only as a designer, but also a fabulous make up artist. i really am a three in one package.. hair, make-up and design... hiring me not only allows you to use my fierce designs, but it becomes a total transformation. With this selection I used "Don't Pass Me By"... I know I have received several first places throughout this competition, but the judges remarks don't reflect my extreme talent... You best recognize this rare talent and appreciate what you have before I walk off the runway altogether.... <3
