12PM as in 12 noon right?
12PM PDT, so around 25 hours from now.
Anyway, Level Jay in the house, y'aaaaaallll (sorry, I promise not to do that again) to critique what's been received so far... which isn't much. Don't you all want the advice of Tyra's pathetic underling? You're all really missing out.
I'll start with Thinga... but where do I start? It's sort of a hideous mess at the moment. First of all, I'm not sure what exactly is keeping it attached to her body, and it certainly looks like it could drop off at any second. Which I guess might be the point, but it certainly doesn't look good. There's entirely too much side-boob going on here. It's almost whole-boob, and while Paris might love her boobs, this get-up is making them look a bit sad and saggy. I'll try to pick out something I like about it.....
.........
..... the colours aren't bad, I guess. I also sort of like the idea of the swirl and the corset, but if they were in a completely different position that afforded a less clear view of Paris's pubes. Oh, and Tyra will NOT be happy when she finds out you've unwonked Paris's eye.
Next, we've got jensa's design... I'm actually really loving this. First of all, the shoes. Mah Gahd, the shoes! They're possibly the best shoes a season of Project Runway has ever seen. I just know Tyra will love them too - they look dangerous, so she'd gleefully include them in one of her runway challenges. The rest of the outfit kind of pales in comparison, but I guess I'll still cast my eyes upon it... it's good too. I really like the top and the way the light plays off her boobs - this is a flattering way to show them off, unlike what Thinga came up with. *glares at Thinga* The skirt's almost verging on a bit puffy and stupid, but then again Paris is a bit puffy and stupid so it suits her to a tee. Good work.
Then we've got Mugatu, whose made Paris look like a big lolly.. but in a good way. It's quite simple but also suits her well... the only major flaw I can see is that the shoes don't really look like something she'd wear in a club. They're almost verging on the nana-ish, and Paris is anything but a nana. You don't find nana smoking pole on the Internet now, do you? At least I really hope you don't.
Finally, Nick's covered-up look, where we really are getting into some nana territory. In fact I'm pretty sure this is what my nana was wearing last time I saw her. I like the idea of the jacket in theory, but in execution it's looking a bit like an old cardigan. I think the length of it needs to be changed - if it was cute and short or longer and more flowy it would have more of a youthful, modern feel. And the rest of the outfit just isn't wowing me. A pink top. Jeans. The belt's quite nice. That's as worked up as I can get about this.
Well, I hope I'm gonna receive a flood of entries soon, because time is running out! You don't want to turn out like disgusting inactive boot CLD do you? Ewwww.
