Well, before fashion week... we will be showcasing the work of our eliminated contestants one more time.

First in our showcase will be CatLurvesDorothy

Kichijōten here is a wondrous beauty in her slinky dress. Sowwy, I meant Mitsuyota, of course. I figured that with as beautiful a flag as Iraq's, simplicity would be key here. I've made an asymetrical design here, of course, and tilted the entire flag about 30 degrees. On her right arm the sleeve goes out slightly past her elbow with lacy black frills upon the end while on the left arm and shoulder there is nothing. To compliment this disparity the dress' hem end alot lower on her left then the right, below and above her knee respectively. In addition, a pair of high heels slghtly drker than the red in the flag was used in order to bring a bit more class to the overall design. There are no other accessories as I believe they would be extraneous distractions to the main focal point, the dress.

Here is lovely Flabium in a ringmaster outfit. Now, she is adorned with many "luck related" items to both represent the circus' former relationship with playing cards. Seeing as how Flabium is so awesome she doesn't need these damn cards, so she is stepping on on with her left heel. Her top is a set of three layers: a red blazer, a black vest, and a white dress shirt. The red blazer is also white on the inside, hence the white on the inner sleeves. Her ribbontie adorns her shirt because it is both larger and elegant. See how it flaps in the wind as she struts. The belt is a spade and her skirt also completed the black ensemble. I really love accessories on my models so for this challenge I did 5: the card, bullhorn, club bracelet, jester mask, and top hat. The top hat and bullhorn are standard ringmaster accessories. It shows Flabium as a true leader. The bracelet is her luck charm while the mask hides her true identity because she has to runaway from home because her dad had sex with her without using a condom =O. Oh, and this entire design is set up like a playing card, because you can either discard me from the competition or put me on top of the pile. =O



After begin assigned this challenge, the next two artists to play on my music library were Lily Allen and The Arcade Fire. As a result, the design is based off of the moods and tones of the two artists. Lily Allen is crass and quite rude in many of her songs (as I type this, Fuck You is playing in the background) so Flabium represents that's by being quite defiant. She is semi-emo and dares to defy the social boundaries. She'll wear black and purple to the funeral because that's what SHE wants. The Arcade Fire inspires much of my imagery. Purple and black are great colors because they both represent mourning and royalty in many countries. The two colors are like a paradox and this is what Flabium is. She is a secret killer who attends other funerals pretending to be the victim's long-lost friend in the 4th grade when she really just uses the funeral to hide her evidence including the knife pictured. She'll toss it into the coffin when no one is looking. That's why she requires this dress which is light, but flowy. Her shoes allows her feet to breathe unlike closed heels. She enjoys her purple bracelets because itsthe last thing her victim will ever see in their futile life. The cross and heart show her true compassion and since she also has emo hair, everyone will think she has her own problems and won't assume her to be the killer. Flabium is pure evil and you better watch out. She just might kill YOU next.

Red is the spiciest, as evident by my sash and heels, yellow is mild as shown by its gentle tone of my sarong and hat, and white is obviously not even spicy, so little is used such as on my shirt, we really encourage you to try the two other curries! Now let me take your order and here are our complimentary chopsticks! They're made out of the finest bamboo and... *something knocks against table* Oh, pardon that was my jade bracelet! I'll be right out with your drinks! *turns and pulls up shirt* Gee, I don't think this sash adds any support.

Firstly, let me say that due to extenuating circumstances (thanks Britt), this had to be made in Paint, so if the quality is vastly different from everything else I've done, that's why. Still fierce though.

Regardless, the lovely N'nk is ready for a glamorous night at the opera or museum opening where she will pretend to know what she and everyone else is talking about with this lovely purple party dress. To give the look the much needed hit of drama, I added a cool-colored rainbow to the dress, flowing gracefully with the silhouette. The purple motif is continued at the neckline as well as at the belt, which gives the dress shape. The dress is tied in the back, with long strands of fabric in place for when she's asked to twirl about. I also added a pretty shaw, for when the night gets nippy or she's at a particularly intellectual event. With this look, any woman can look like she was married because of her looks and still pretend to (or actually) look smart and fashion-y.



For this challenge I wanted to avoid making a basic black outfit; while respectful, there are certainly other creative ways to show respect for the deceased. I went with a short-sleeved wrap dress in a canary yellow; the muted color is a way to blend in with the mood of the event while at the same time not looking like one's grandmother. I also made a gray knit cardigan to be used for a winter funeral or to add the touch of gray/black that some people would find more appropriate. Overall, Mytzii here is ready for the funeral of the next model casualty while still looking like she has a chance to win a spread in Paris(ian) Elle magazine.



Going off of some of the earlier comments about Mytzii as well as her general mannish-ness, I decided to make a look for a bearded lady. The major thing, of course, is the contrast between the masculine beard and the feminine...everything else, so I gave her a long flowing hair weave for a 60s-ish feel. For the outfit, I wanted to go with the slutty motif and create a simple, yet kind of hoish look, so I made a corset top paired with a rulled skirt for some whimsy. I used black since it allowed for people to stare more closely at the details, which is something that I'm sure a bearded lady would want. Ultimately, it's an outfit for a bearded lady to confound people (or, if and when she is rejected by the circus, a nice bit of hooker wear).

Alright, this is my model Jayvonne. For this week's challenge, we had to do a circus theme. I've never been into a circus, so what I based my outfit on was mainly based on movies about circus that I saw and one of Britney Spears' latest singles, Circus.

She had a golden top bra thing to wear for her performance and a low-cut golden skirt to match it. Brings out the fierceness, the glitter and the beauty of her in the center of the ring. She has fishnet glove-like things covering her arms, to bring out her fierceness and beauty, same for her legs, with fishnet stockings. Really shows her off when she's in the center of the ring, taking care of the animals like lions (if they are in the circus of course, at least, there are animals in a circus from what I've heard about).

She has a silver whip and hoop to aid her in her performances. A golden tiara at the top complete her looks, showcasing her status as the ringleader of all the circus animals, the adrenaline that moves through her veins! She dances for the stage and she's in the center of the ring, showcasing her beauty and might.


Tish is dressed in a sexy evening gown, so she will have presence, especially when standing next to her husband. Her red scarf is sexy enough to bring out her strength and idkr, I think the dress is enough to describe itself.



This week's theme was the Flags and I was given Japan. Japan is major love and its flag is definitely beautiful but it is hard to come up a design for it.

I had an idea of having a long sleeved white shirt. I added the red stripe at the top in the end because i felt the need to show the fierceness of the red in my top too. It shows off her shoulders and the red symbolizes the sun in Japan and they love that color a lot. I tried to integrate some Japanese culture into the outfit too, with that ribbon that Japanese use to tie their Kimono together. I realize I used it last round but hey, I wasn't expecting to get a flag theme again. This time, it is not a mess like last time. It is a beautiful red and it brings out the fierceness in this outfit.

The bottom half is a long piece skirt with red polkadots. My original idea was actually a beautiful dress in white that looked like a wedding dress with a red ruby pendant to symbolize the sun but I thought that would be too UTR and boring. Polka dots give the skirt a fresh look and is more hip as compared to just an elegant white skirt. It shows how bright and beautiful the country is too. The red sun shining all over Japan, that's the message of the skirt, Japan being showered by the sun.

I hope that this has impressed the judges after my trainwreck from last round and I certainly hope that I did tons better this round compared to the vomitpile last round. My lovely model <333
